There are many benefits of touring with me by train. Switzerland's vast railway network offers a multitude of magnificent and scenic train routes. As a self-employed guide, I don't have to adhere to any maximum working time laws. Due to the operation by train, there are also no driving time limitations, so that we can travel further, and make the most out of our tour day in Switzerland. Further we can visit places only reachable by train such as the car-free village of Zermatt, Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg.

I'm a native guide, born and raised in Switzerland, and I speak English fluently thanks to language stays of over one year in the US and New Zealand. Your day starts worry-free. I can meet you at any city center Hotel or Apartment in Zurich, Lucerne, or Interlaken. I will stay with you throughout the journey and accompany you to all the attractions. You don't have to worry about meeting points and times. Enjoy the day without rushing, missing out on key attractions, and losing valuable time waiting for others at predefined meeting points.
Good value for money
I am an affordable private guide in Switzerland. I operate with a fair margin, and as I sell my tours only directly through my website, I don't need to calculate an additional 20% margin for commissions. All my fully-guided day tours include already first-class train tickets, the expensive mountain railway fares, and entry fees. You know what the tour will cost you at the time of booking. The only things which the tour price does not cover are your meals, drinks, personal expenses, optional activities, and travel insurance. Last but not least: I don't charge an hourly rate; included in the tour price is a flat fee for the day. You can do the tour at your pace, without paying extra.
